Check the region first

Steam wallet codes are tied to a currency and region. A code for the wrong region may fail or convert badly. Confirm your store region before buying.

What Steam's own agreement says

The Steam Subscriber Agreement (last updated September 2026 when we checked) says Steam Wallet funds have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and are non-refundable and non-transferable except as set out in Steam's refund policy. Treat a redeemed code as spent for good.

The same agreement says you cannot sell or transfer your Steam account or charge others for the right to use it. That is one more reason to redeem codes only on an account you own.

How delivery works

Codes are normally delivered digitally inside the order page. Redeem them in the Steam client under Redeem a Steam Gift Card or Wallet Code.
