Marketplace Safety Checklist: 10 Rules Before You Buy

These rules apply to any third-party digital marketplace. None of them removes risk entirely, but together they filter out most avoidable problems.
- Pay inside the marketplace. Never move the deal to Discord, Telegram or direct bank transfer. Escrow only protects payments made on platform.
- Keep all chat on platform. Messages inside the order page can be reviewed in a dispute. Off-platform messages cannot.
- Never share credentials. No honest item delivery needs your password, email access or authenticator code.
- Compare prices. Look at several offers. A price far below the rest is a warning, not a deal.
- Match region and server. Wrong region, realm or league causes most failed orders.
- Start small. Test a seller with a small order before committing a large one.
- Record delivery. Screen record the trade or redemption so you have evidence.
- Confirm only after checking. Mark an order complete only after verifying what arrived.
- Know the game's rules. Publisher terms may forbid real-money trading. Understand the consequences.
- Use unique passwords and 2FA. Protect the accounts you already have, whatever you buy.
